Diagnosis. See generic description. Bornean specimens
differ slightly from typical Himalayan ones in that the aedeagus vesica has one
basal stout cornutus instead of a closely packed row of longer slender ones, and the
two more distal rows of cornuti (seen more basally within the aedeagus) are
usually of two spines rather than four or five. Bornean specimens are therefore
referred to F. holoxanthia paucispina ssp. n.

Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya; Borneo, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia.
Habitat preference. All three type specimens were taken in montane forest
at 900m or above.
