Saccurosa Gen. n.
Type species: calcicola sp. n.
This is another member of the Narosa group with the
characteristic forewing venation and filiform male antennae. The wings are brown
with short darker bars submarginally, subtornally and medially over the dorsal
half; the medial has two white flecks within it posterior to the cell. The
female is unknown but there are several diagnostic features in the male
genitalia: the elongate saccus; the stepped saccular margin to the valve; long,
narrow blades arising from the base of the sacculus; a slender, upcurved rather
than flexed gnathus; a long row of small cornuti in the vesica of the slender
aedeagus.
