7mm. This species resembles rubraspersa but has a very large pale
discal spot on the hindwing and more irregular postmedial fasciae. The forewing
dorsum provides the diameter for a diagnostic, more or less semicircular pale
fawn area. The male genitalia have a more sinuous spine to the valve, lacking a
lateral spur, and the uncus is more typical of the genus.

Gunung Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D. Holloway et al.) Site
23, April, W. Melinau Gorge, 250m. 430558. FEG 4 limestone, BM geometrid
slide 18326.
Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (FRIM and Barlow collns).
Habitat preference. The single specimen is from lowland dipterocarp
forest on limestone.
