dimerites Prout comb. n.
Anisodes dimerites Prout, 1932, J. Fed. Malay States Mus.,

Erde, 12: 177.
Anisodes intermixtaria Swinhoe
sensu Holloway, 1976: 63.
Diagnosis. This and the next two species are probably closely related. S.
dimerites is more of a pale, unshaded pink, with fasciae more finely
defined, but dissection of the genitalia is recommended to confirm identity.
Taxonomic notes. Subspecies goliathi has the distal processes of the valve costa
closer together, and the juxta has a spine-like extension asymmetrically at its
apex.
Geographical range. Borneo; New Guinea (ssp. goliathi).
Habitat preference. The species has only been recorded from G. Kinabalu
infrequently from 1620m to 1760m.
