Collix blosyra (holotype)

Diagnosis.
This species is more of a dark, uniform dull brown than the next. The submarginal white spots are weakly developed, and the underside is similar to that of stenoplia, though the fasciation is weak.

Taxonomic notes. The shape of the valve is similar to that in C. praetenta Prout (N.E. Himalaya) and C. astathes Prout (Bali), but both these species are paler and have long setose labides in the male genitalia.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The species was described from over 2000m on G. Murud in Sarawak but has also been taken singly at 1620m and 2110m on G. Kinabalu and at 1790m on G. Mulu. It is thus a rare species of upper montane forest.
