Diagnosis. The colour of the forewing in this species is similar to that of arfakensis,
but the fasciation is restricted to the medial zone, where it is intense,
with a fine central line of pale ground colour, and to narrower, more irregular
basal and submarginal bands. The hindwings are a pale reddish brown.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is montane, with a single Bornean female
recorded at 1620m on G. Kinabalu.
