Yashmakia veneris Warren, 1901, Novit. zool. 8:197.
Diagnosis. See the generic description and that of the next species.
Taxonomic notes. Y. vanbraeckeli from Sulawesi is similar in external appearance but
with distinct male genitalia (narrower valves, aedeagus cornuti more even in
size).
Geographical range. Borneo, Sumatra.
Habitat preference. Two specimens were taken at 300m in hill dipterocarp
forest of the Ulu Temburong, Brunei, and one in kerangas forest at 150m in the
G. Mulu National Park. The species is rare.
