15-16mm. This species is smaller that its congeners, with the wings more
extensively and uniformly grey. The forewing costal markings are relatively much
reduced. The dark discal spots are more prominent on both wings. In the male
genitalia the base of the uncus is expanded into setose lobes, the valve is
apically acute, with a double-angled process to the centre of the costa, and the
aedeagus vesica bears many more cornuti than in congeners (these are more
slender in Sulawesi material). In the female genitalia the bursa is much more
elongate than in veneris, the signum less than half the size: the lamella
postvaginalis lacks the pan-like structure seen in veneris.
