Diagnosis. See the generic description. The pale edging to the dentate fasciae is
diagnostic.
Taxonomic notes. This species differs from the type species in having more dentate
fasciae, a more definite spur to the ventral angle of the valve, and a somewhat
shorter, more bulbous cornutus in the aedeagus vesica, though this last is
longer, narrower in Sundanian material.
Geographical range. N.E. Himalaya, Taiwan, Burma, Peninsular Malaysia,
Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The majority of Bornean specimens is from upper
montane forest on G. Kinabalu, Bukit Retak in Brunei, G. Mulu and G. Api in
Sarawak. On G. Mulu one specimen was taken in lower montane forest at 1000m.
