Diagnosis. See Celenna festivaria Fabricius comb.
rev. The male genitalia have a tapering rather than
lenticular uncus, and the aedeagus vesica has no cornuti, the two rows basal in
the vesica seen in other species perhaps being represented by two short,
opposing rows at the apex of the aedeagus shaft.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The species is perhaps commoner in the lowlands,
found in several forest types during the Mulu survey. The highest record is from
1200m on G. Kinabalu.
