Diagnosis. See Achrosis lithosiaria Walker comb.

Taxonomic notes. There is an undescribed montane species in Sulawesi with similarly
shaped, but unfasciated forewings.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Most records are from upper montane forest localities
between 1500m and 2000m, on G. Kinabalu (type locality), G. Mulu and G. Api
(also at 900m in lower montane forest) in Sarawak, and Bukit Retak in Brunei.
