forest.
There are also a few specimens from hill dipterocarp sites on the lower
slopes of G. Mulu and from alluvial forest.
Geographical range. Borneo, ?Sumatra.
Habitat preference. The species is found in most lowland forest types
except kerangas, but during the Mulu survey showed some preference for that on
the limestone of G. Api, extending up into the lower montane zone at 900m, where
it was common.
