Diagnosis.
The blue and
black pattern is similar to that of Longicella mollis, but the white
markings are diagnostic.
Taxonomic
notes. The
valve of the male genitalia has au unusual, spur-like process from the valve
costa.
Geographical
range. Sumatra,
Java, Lesser Sundas, Sulawesi, S. Moluccas; on Pulo Laut, an island at the south
of Borneo.
Biology.
Sevastopulo
(1941a) noted Cissus (Vitaceae) as a larval host-plant.
