Caradrina albistigma Swinhoe,1904,
Trans. ent. Soc. Lond.,1904:

Prometopus albistigma Swinhoe; Holloway, 1976:13.
Diagnosis.
This and the
next species have greenish forewings more brownish towards the dorsum, with a
conspicuous oblique, white reniform stigma. The next species is smaller with the
forewing dorsum conspicuously paler basally; the hindwings are whitish rather
than grey except at the apex.
Geographical
range. Borneo,
Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra.
Habitat
preference. The
species is found infrequently in the lowlands in a variety of habitats, but was
taken in abundance between 1000m and 2000m on G. Kinabalu. This pattern was also
seen during the Mulu survey, though large numbers were taken also at 250m in
dipterocarp forest on the limestone G. Api.
