Diagnosis. The forewing is relatively uniform dark red with an oblique, slightly
curved double pale antemedial, narrower than in maculata, and two
longitudinal, diverging pale streaks distal to it. There is no subtornal pale
blue marking.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, New Guinea,
Bismarcks, Solomons, Fiji, Samoa.
Habitat preference. This is unknown, only one specimen from Borneo having
been located, from Kuching in Sarawak.
