Diagnosis. The forewing ground is a uniform purplish grey of a bluer tone than in approximata,
and the fasciae are of more even intensity, generally faint though the
angled medial is slightly darker than the rest; the subapical costal triangle is
bordered interiorly by a narrow, slightly paler, oblique zone.
Taxonomic note. The species is barely separable in facies from [Phlogophora]
triangulatrix Wileman & West; this taxon is therefore placed as A.
dimidiata triangulatrix Wileman & West comb. & stat.
n.
Geographical range. Sundaland; Philippines, Sulawesi.
Habitat preference. The species has been taken in lowland rainforest but
too infrequently for a clear preference in Borneo to be indicated.
