Diagnosis. A large species with pale purplish grey forewings, a prominent angled
dark medial and a large subapical costal triangle.
Geographical range. Sulawesi, ? Borneo (a single specimen, tentatively
attributed and illustrated with typical caesia on the Plate, but too worn
for certain identification).
Habitat preference. The Bornean specimen was taken in alluvial forest at
Long Pala, G. Mulu National Park.
