12-13mm. The facies is similar to that of chalybsa but the ground
colour is purplish grey with a greenish tone to the fasciae; the central
triangle to the submarginal is also greenish, but much less distinct than in chalybsa;
the antemedial is not darker towards the dorsum.
Holotype . BRUNEI: 3m, Seria,
secondary and coastal veg., 28.12.1978 (Lt. Col. M.G. Allen), BM noctuid
slide 10968.
Paratype . S.E.
BORNEO:
Samarinda, x. 1938 (M.E. Walsh) BM 1939-182.
Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. Both specimens are from the coast but the sample is
too small to indicate a preference.
