Diagnosis. This is the largest of the typical Targalla group in Borneo. The
forewings are shades of rich brown, the pale distal half contrasting with the
very dark basal half. Submarginally at the tornus pale and dark sinuous fasciae
alternate.
Geographical range. Sundaland to the Solomons.
Habitat preference. Only a single specimen from Borneo has been seen,
from Samarinda in Kalimantan.
