Diagnosis.
The ground of the wings is straw-colour, variegated with medium brown. There are
fine, wavy, black postmedials, that of the forewing obscured anteriorly by an
oblique, diffusely edged black bar that cuts off the apex.
Geographical
range. Borneo, Sri Lanka, India.
Habitat
preference. The only Bornean specimen known is the holotype of nigrosignata
(in
UM Oxford). It was taken by A.R. Wallace in Sarawak, probably in the lowlands.
