Panilla

Diagnosis.
The species is a similar size and colour to Panilla poliochroa (see
above), but is slightly more uniform and is distinguished by having darker,
somewhat triangular marks along the forewing costa.
Taxonomic
note. The male genitalia indicate that this species is better placed
in Panilla
than
in Diomea.
Geographical
range. Philippines,
Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (Barlow Colln).
Habitat
preference. A single specimen was recorded from forest at 300m on G.
Santubong near Kuching.
