Diagnosis.
The forewing facies is diagnostic, the wing almost entirely filled by a pale
brown patch that is edged whitish except where it meets the distal and dorsal
margins. The base, apex and tornus are dark brown. The hindwing is almost
uniform, unlike in the next two species.
Geographical
range. Borneo.
Habitat
preference. The holotype female was taken by A.R. Wallace in Sarawak. Only
one other female is known, from near Pontianak (see the holotype of the previous
species) in the lowlands of Kalimantan.
