Diagnosis.
This and the next species have dark blackish brown wings fasciated with several
series of small white spots. In albopunctata these are similar on foreand hindwings;
see the diagnosis of the next species.
Geographical
range. Indian Subregion, Ryukyu Is. (Yoshimoto, 1944), Taiwan, Thailand
(VK), Sundaland.
Habitat
preference. The species is most frequent in lowland dipterocarp forest but
is also known from coastal forest and logged forest. It has not been taken above
150m.
