Batracharta
lempkei Kobes
Batracharta
lempkei Kobes, 1989, Heterocera Sumatrana 2:
161.
Diagnosis.
The size and coloration is similar to that of the previous two species, but lempkei
is
easily distinguished by the basal indigo zone which is more conspicuous, with a
transverse and slightly oblique distal boundary that, when close to the dorsum,
turns basad to converge almost asymptotically with it. There is no more distal
patch.
Geographical
range. Sumatra, Thailand, Borneo, Sulawesi.
Habitat
preference. Five specimens were taken during the Mulu survey, four from
alluvial forest at 70m and one from hill dipterocarp forest on G. Mulu at 500m.
There
are also two specimens from Samarinda on the coast of Kalimantan.
