Diagnosis.
The forewings are rather deeper than in other species, with the tornus rounded
and grading into a more pronounced convexity of the dorsum. The forewing colour
is a slightly golden brown rather than a vinous or greyish brown, and the
fasciation is more finely etched and more regularly crenulate.
Geographical
range. N.E. Himalaya to Queensland and Solomons.
Habitat
preference. All material is from the lowlands, including forested
localities, except for one specimen from stunted hill forest at 1200m on Bukit
Monkobo in Sabah.
