Diagnosis.
The ochreous fawn forewings, marked only by the B-shaped reniform and a few
costal marks representing the fasciae, are distinctive. The pale yellow border
of the hindwing is almost as extensive as in guttulosa.
The thorax is a slightly more rufous ochreous fawn.
Geographical
range. Borneo, Sumatra (HS / ZSM), Thailand (VK).
Habitat
preference. Only four specimens have been recorded in Borneo: the holotype
from 1200m on G. Kinabalu (see the previous species); one from 1618m on Bukit
Retak; two from lowland forest localities in Brunei at Badawan (400m) and the
Ulu Temburong (300m).
