Diagnosis.
The forewings are much more uniform than in the previous species, the more
oblique fasciae diffuse and obscure, as is the rather more narrow reniform. The
male hindwing is somewhat narrowed compared with that of fasciosa and
relatives.
Taxonomic
note. Himalayan material differs slightly in the genitalia, as
illustrated by Holloway (1984b).
Geographical
range. Sundaland, N.E. Himalaya.
Habitat
preference. The species is only known in Borneo from the type, collected in
Sarawak by A.R. Wallace, probably in the lowlands.
