Diagnosis.
This is a rather uniform grey-brown species with irregular blackish fasciation.
The hindwing has a white discal mark as in albiseriata and
also a similar dark extension from the submarginal to the margin, but it lacks
the associated series of white marks.
Taxonomic
note. The male abdomen is consistent in features with Pangrapta.
The valves are narrow, tapering, but with the process relatively basal, close to
the sacculus. The aedeagus has two long diverticula, the ends of each with
numerous robust spines.
Geographical
range. Singapore
(holotype only; H.N. Ridley specimen), Borneo, Sumatra (HS / K).
Habitat
preference. The species is uncommon but occurs in forests from the lowlands
to 1000m, including heath forest and that on limestone.
