Diagnosis.
The species resembles a very small Tamba, the wings a medium rosy brown, slightly
fasciated, the forewings with a paler fawn basal area and large reniform, the
latter with a more diffuse paler area immediately distal to it.
Geographical
range. Singapore
(H.N. Ridley material), Borneo, Sumatra (HS / K), Thailand (VK).
Habitat
preference. A single male has been recorded from lowland forest at Semengok
near Kuching. Eight specimens were recorded by S. J. Willott in both pristine
and logged lowland forest in the vicinity of the Danum Valley Field Centre in
Sabah, and a further specimen was recorded at Danum in an earlier survey.
