Diagnosis.
This species has some similarities to editha (see above) but is smaller, the dark fasciation more obscure but highlighted more extensively by paler suffusion, particularly over the triplet of the forewing antemedial, medial and postmedial which are in a relatively basal position.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The original material is from about 2000m on G. Murud in Sarawak. Six specimens have been taken on G. Kinabalu at 1500m, 1760m and 1930m (Holloway, 1976), and several more were taken a few years earlier at the Mesilau locality at 1500m by J. Smart. A further specimen was taken at 1780m on G. Mulu during the Mulu survey.
