Diagnosis.
The ground colour of the wings is an ochreous cream, irrorated with dull brown. It is crossed by four more or less straight brown linear fasciae, the postmedial being narrower, more irregular and more indistinct. This faint fascia recurs medially on the hindwing; the submarginal is the strongest on all wings, and is angled subdorsally on the hindwing.

Geographical range. Borneo, Peninsular Malaysia (Barlow colln), Bali.

Habitat preference. The holotype is from G. Kinabalu without altitude data. The other four specimens seen are from low elevations: Pulo Laut; Kretam on the coast of Sabah; at 150m and 500m in dipterocarp forest on G. Mulu. Chey (1994) recorded one from a lowland Paraserianthes falcataria plantation, and one was recorded from logged dipterocarp forest at around 170m near the Danum Valley Field Centre (S.J. Willott, unpublished data).
