At 13mm, this species resembles a small specimen of discosticta (15mm and over), but it is slightly greyer and the submarginals are indistinct. The genitalia are distinct, with the ductus shorter than the bursa rather than longer, and the bursa is narrower, more pyriform, corrugated and sclerotised over just more than its basal half. The only specimen was taken at 300m on G. Santubong, an isolated forested hill near Kuching in Sarawak.
