Polypogon brackenburyi sp. n.

Polypogon brackenburyi
Figure 307

10mm. This species resembles the previous one in characteristics of the forelegs, antennae, labial palps and wing facies, except the latter is expressed on a medium grey ground. The forewing discal spot is more prominent, black, and the postmedial runs more closely to it. The highlighting of the postmedial is also more diffuse. The eighth segment of the abdomen is again unmodified. The genitalia have the valves unequally trifid, the most ventral process with a fringe of hairs along its inner margin. The aedeagus vesica has two fields of very coarse spines, but there are no major cornuti.
