, 9-10mm. The forewing facies is somewhat as in retatalis, but it is more variegated in males, somewhat paler basal to the discal marks. The discal marks are more conspicuous, the largest more trapezoid, than in retatalis, with more diffuse dots just distal and posterior to it. The fine, broken postmedial loops around these more closely than in retatalis. The four darker triangles are more conspicuous: basal; antemedial; medial; postmedial-submarginal. The forewing apex is somewhat produced compared with retatalis. The male genitalia have the valves narrow, entire, lacking the extended spine of the sacculus in retatalis. The aedeagus vesica lacks the bundle of cornuti seen in retatalis. The female has a very elongate bursa copulatrix with a short scobinate band near its apex.
