Chusaris bifasciata sp. n.

Chusaris bifasciata
Figure 373

9-10mm. This species is intermediate between the previous two in external features, being a paler grey as in obliquisignata but with dark markings on the forewing costa more as in signicosta, though the dark discal mark is more prominent. The double black fascia on the hindwing dorsum is more extensive than in signicosta. The male genitalia are also closer to those of signicosta, but the valves are distally longer and broader, with the spur on the ventral margin shorter and more robust. The valve costa is considerably expanded, convex, compared with concave in signicosta, and the subbasal lobe just interior to it is triangular rather than tongue-like.
