7mm. This is a smaller species than purpurisigna, with the forewing ground colour paler, more mauve in tint. The male genitalia have a short, but slender and apically acute uncus. The tegumen is broad but without processes. The valves are slender, narrowest centrally, apically spatulate, but lack the costal processes of nigrisigna. The saccus is moderately developed, slightly quadrate. The aedeagus is much broader than in nigrisigna and purpurisigna.

Holotype . SARAWAK: Gunong Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D. Holloway et al.), Site 22, April, W. Melinau Gorge, 150m. 421578, wet kerangas, BM noctuid slide 19955.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The holotype is from an area of wet heath forest on a river terrace. A second specimen from the same forest (Site 20) may also belong to this species but has not been designated a paratype.
