8mm. The facies is similar to that of violisigna except the forewing ground colour is paler, greyer, and the discal mark is more distinct, black, consisting of an ovate discal spot and a triangular mark distal to it; there is a fine, punctate black postmedial fascia looping round this discal mark. The male genitalia are also similar to those of violisigna except the valves are more sinuous and the saccus is very much shallower. The aedeagus is longer, narrower, and the vesica is more elongate.

Holotype . SARAWAK: Gunong Mulu Nat. Park, R.G.S. Exped. 1977-8 (J.D. Holloway et al.), Site 8, February, Camp 1, Mulu, 150m, 385470, mixed dipt. for.; BM noctuid slide 19997.

Geographical range. Borneo.

Habitat preference. The only specimen is from lowland dipterocarp forest.
