,   9mm. The shape of the wings, the coloration and the fasciation are similar to those of the previous two species, including the black submarginal marks, but the ground colour is more creamy in tint. However, the medial fascia on the forewing is most strongly delineated on the postmedial side, and the fine postmedial can be seen to flex sharply back through the fascia in a hairpin subcostally. The pale band immediately distal to it arises from the centre of the dorsum and runs obliquely to the apex. Opposite the marginal angle it narrows and forks, sending off a spur to the angle. The male genitalia are similar to those of hefferi except the tegumen has shallow, rugose shoulder-lobes and the valves are slightly larger. The female has a zone of moderate spines in the bursa copulatrix from one-third to three-quarters.
