, 8-9mm. The forewing margins are more oblique than in hefferi, but the coloration is similar. The fasciation is also more oblique, consisting of subbasal, medial and submarginal components, the two exterior ones being darker and more clearly defined basad, the submarginal one being distinctly blackish in this position. There is a submarginal row of black marks with white surrounds as in hefferi, though not so conspicuous, as the area surrounding them is paler. The male genitalia have a downturned uncus and swollen tegumen similar to that of dohertyi, but the valves as straight, tapering, with slightly more pronounced narrowing subapically. The apex is acute and lacks rods, nor is there a lobe at the centre of the valve. The female genitalia have a broad, square pouch at the ostium. The bursa copulatrix is an irregular pyriform without scobination.
