Hypenagonia hefferi

, 8mm. The coloration of the ground and markings of the wings are much as in the previous two species except the paler brown shades are richer and grade more into the darker ones. The medial bands are relatively narrow, that on the forewing with the postmedial angle closely associated with the discal mark. Most of the rest of the dark shading is irregular and mostly along the costal and distal margins. The submarginal is unlike that in brachypalpia or dohertyi, consisting of black dashes in the spaces, each with a white surround, particularly on the basal side. The male genitalia have single, short, narrow, tapering valves that are slightly bilobed at the apex. The aedeagus vesica contains several robust cornuti.
