Diagnosis.
The forewings are slightly bifalcate, marked in shades of blackish brown with a slight violet tinge. There is a fine, pale postmedial, sharply dentate distad anterior to the CuA vein of the cell, and gently bilobed distad posterior to this. The wing is darker basal to this postmedial, and the section from the anterior angle to the costa has a diffuse whitish band running parallel to it on its distal side. There are two blackish dots submarginally near the costa.

Geographical range. India, Borneo, Bali, Sulawesi.

Habitat preference. A single male has been recorded from a Pinus caribaea plantation near Brumas in the lowlands of Sabah.
