Acidon mariae
Diagnosis. Both forewings and hindwings are blackish, narrow, apically produced, the former slightly falcate. The forewing is divided by an oblique and slightly sinuous or angled, fine, pale fascia that runs from the centre of the costa to just subdorsally. The wing is entirely black basal to this, dark grey distal to it.
Geographical range. Java, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference. A single male has been recorded from a Pinus caribaea plantation near Brumas in the lowlands of Sabah.
