Hypena parvigrisea sp. n.

Hypena parvigrisea
Figure 412

12-13mm. This is a relatively small species resembling iconicalis, with a straight, transverse postmedial just distal from the centre of the wing which is otherwise a more or less uniform grey. There is a faint hint of a darker punctate submarginal, and also an irregular antemedial that bulges distad over its posterior half. The submarginal incorporates no white elements, and there is no apical lens. The postmedial consists of a narrow, sharp boundary into which the ground colour grades darker from basad, and paler from distad. The distal margin of the wing is also delineated with darker grey. The male genitalia have somewhat broader valves than iconicalis, with a broader juxta.
