Titulcia eximia
Diagnosis. The forewing has basal, central and subapical satiny white
patches framed with yellow or reddish brown. The central patch is the longest
and is roughly triangular with its distal boundary shallowly curved.
Geographical range. Borneo, Burma (Mergui Is.), Peninsular Malaysia,
Sumatra.
Habitat preference.
The only recently collected specimen seen is from
lowland dipterocarp forest at 150m in the Rampayoh area of Brunei. Older
specimens include the type material collected by A.R. Wallace in Sarawak and one
from Pulo Laut.
