Diagnosis. The forewings are rather deep, with a blunt angle to the centre
of the distal margin. The marginal zone cut off by the postmedial is narrow.
Geographical range. Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference.
In recent surveys a
singleton was taken at 60m in lowland forest at Ulu Belait in Brunei. Older
material is from Samarinda and Pontianak in the lowlands of Kalimantan and,
without precise altitude data, from the G. Mulu area of Sarawak. Kobes (1997)
considered the species to be montane in Sumatra.
