Calymera lauritzeni Kobes
Calymera lauritzeni Kobes, 1997:114.
Diagnosis. The rich rusty red forewings have distinctive transverse blackish
fasciae, and the dorsal and distal margins are also darkened.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo.
Habitat preference.
Only three specimens have been taken, two from
disturbed lowland forest: at 70m in alluvial forest at Long Pala, near G. Mulu,
Sarawak; at 30-60m in lowland forest at Labi in Brunei. The third is without
altitude data from 20 km east of Telupid in Sabah (in USNM).
