Calymera fratella Kobes, 1997: 111.
Diagnosis.
The species is similar in shape and
facies to lukaschi, particularly the acute apex to the rather triangular
forewing. The species is somewhat paler, however, particularly the hindwing, and
the forewing is much more lightly fasciated. The aedeagus vesica has numerous
coarse spines scattered over its basal part in addition to the more distal
groups of cornuti.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference.
The only specimen is from lowland forest near Labi
(30-60m) in Brunei. Sumatran material is from elevations over 1000m.
