Diagnosis. The ovate
purple grey patch on the forewing distinguishing this species is described in
the diagnosis of the next.
Geographical range. Java, Sumatra (van Eecke, 1926), Borneo, Peninsular
Malaysia (Barlow, 1982), Thailand, Taiwan (H. Inoue pers. comm.).
Habitat preference. The only Bornean specimen seen is a damaged female
taken in an area of alluvial and secondary forest at Long Pala by the Mesilau
river near the foot of G. Mulu.
