7 mm. This is a more uniform rufous brown species than
aperta,
lacking the rather ovate mark in the centre of the distal half of the forewing,
basally lilac, distally dark brown, all areas finely defined by white lines and
with an approximately triangular white area anterior to it. In the new species
there is no lilac mark, andirregular white markings surround a large ring of
rufous brown in the tornal area of the wing. The forewing dorsal margin is
straight rather than obtusely angled. The hindwings are a bone-colour basally,
grading darker towards the apex.

Geographical range. Borneo.
Habitat preference. The unique specimen is from disturbed lowland forest.
