Diagnosis. This is the smallest and most lightly marked of the Saliocleta and
Norraca species, the ground of both wings being very pale yellow, the
forewing with a faint rich brown suffusion along the dorsum.
Taxonomic note. A similar species, undescribed, occurs in India but has stellate
spicules as well as spines in the aedeagus vesica. S. barasamphia Schaus
from the Philippines is externally similar but has, in the male genitalia, bifid
gnathal processes, a more acute spine to the aedeagus apex and only very small
spines in the vesica.
Geographical range. Sumatra, Borneo.
Habitat preference. The only Bornean specimen seen was a male from Bidi,
Sarawak, with no habitat data.
